Hanselmann's comics are known for their dark humor, surreal imagery, and unflinching portrayal of the human condition. Bad Gateway Megahex is no exception. The book follows Hanselmann's alter ego, Megg, as she navigates the challenges of everyday life in a world gone mad.
Megg is a young woman struggling with depression, anxiety, and addiction. She lives in a dilapidated apartment with her cat, Mogg, and her on-again, off-again boyfriend, Owl. Megg's world is filled with bizarre characters and strange events. She encounters talking animals, psychic mushrooms, and even the Devil himself.
Hanselmann's art is as unique as his storytelling. His characters are grotesque and deformed, but they are also strangely endearing. Hanselmann's use of color is bold and vibrant, creating a sense of unease and disorientation.
Bad Gateway Megahex is a challenging and rewarding read. It is a book that will stay with you long after you finish it. If you are looking for a comic that will push your boundaries and make you think, then Bad Gateway Megahex is the book for you.
