About the Authors

Friz Freleng was born in Kansas City, Missouri, in 1906. He began his career in animation in the 1920s, working for Ub Iwerks and Walter Lantz. In 1930, he joined Warner Bros. Animation, where he created some of the most famous cartoon characters of all time. Freleng died in 1995 at the age of 89.
