In 1958, Bergoglio entered the Society of Jesus, the Jesuit religious Free Download. During his novitiate, he studied theology and philosophy. In 2013, Bergoglio was elected Pope Francis, becoming the first Jesuit pope in history. Since his election, Pope Francis has emphasized the importance of mercy, compassion, and social justice. He has also made efforts to reform the Church and promote dialogue with other religions.
